Why little feathered friends know more
Of trust and the essential things
Which are the font of joy and wings,
I breathe a sigh, turn ‘round, deplore

How one much finer and advanced
A creature of great intellect 
Who should know that we are compleat
And should as co-creators dance

Evolution’s great pirouette,
Basis of Being and of life
The purpose of all joy and strife,
Contained within one silhouette.

I think of you - your taste I savor
For death gives such mysterious flavor.
