The Legend of a Rainbow

Long time ago, the sun was surrounded by seven beautiful crystals with different colors. Each crystal was equally beautiful but these seven crystals were never got tired of comparing themselves to others.

The Red Crystal powerfully declared with a booming sound just like an erupting volcano, “Of all seven crystals, I represent fire and courage, and so, I am the most beautiful.”

The Yellow Crystal was wearing its biggest smile and cheerfully said, “My color is the same as Mother Sun. Mother Sun is praised by all living things and so, I am the most beautiful.”

The Blue Crystal humbly stood up and walked like a quiet sea. It softly replied, “Blue represents peace. The sea and the sky are blue. Even planet Earth is mostly blue in color, and so, I am the most beautiful.

The Green Crystal appeared, emitted the freshest scent of nature and clearly spoke, “Green is the color of nature. It is the color of the leaves that helps the plants make their food and it is the source of food by most animals. Without green color, there would be no plants nor animals, and so, I am the most beautiful.

The Orange Crystal gave its sweetest smile as it replied, “Mother Sun as she sets in the west turned orange in color. A lot of creatures fell in love to this sunset, and so, I am the most beautiful.

The Violet Crystal answered liked a queen, “Silence! I am a two in one color. I am produced by combining red and blue, and so, I am the most beautiful.”

The Indigo Crystal who was confidently beautiful with a heart, joined the argument, “All of you are so common while my color is not easy to find. True beauty is rare, and so, I am the most beautiful.” 😉 😊 😊

Mother Sun calmly said, “My beautiful seven crystal children. Each one of you has equal beauty to one another. None of you is the most beautiful nor the least beautiful. I have thought of a way where all of you become one and even become more beautiful. Are you all interested to become one and be more beautiful so that you could show this beauty to the world, the universe rather? 😊 😊 😊

The seven crystals as if having the same heart and mind, all said in chorus, “Yes, mother! We want to become as one and end our endless argument as to who is the most beautiful.”

Mother Sun smiled and felt contented with the answers of her seven crystal children. Through her magical fire, she turned her seven crystal children into one, and turned into an arc with seven beautiful crystal colors. Each crystal adds beauty to this arc and from this day on, the seven crystals harmoniously coexist with one another. The seven crystals had finally learned to be grateful and they realized that they have an amazing world where negativity couldn't grow and prosper, and all creatures under the sky would have smiles on their faces as they look up witnessing these seven incredibly beautiful colors formed into an arc. This arc with seven crystal colors turned the first rainbow in the world. 😊 😊 😊
