Calling For Filipino Writers

Guys looking for writers (Hindi kailangan professional, you can just be a hobbyist with a story to tell) who would love to contribute food articles, travel articles, art and culture, human interest stories, pop culture, music, home and lifestyle articles, and other stories to MB’s Lifestyle and Panorama sections. 

If you’re interested kindly email us a sample of your work (best at 800-1200 words so it’s easily and quickly readable) at mblifestyle@gmail.com and say something about yourself. 

My editor will go through them.

Personally I wish we would get contributors from all over the world so we can have as many stories from as many Filipinos in the paper. Gusto ko sana writers from Mindanao, Visayas, Luzon, Denmark (random lol), basta all over the world, as long as you’re Filipino.

We would also like to work with LGUs. If you have stories to tell and tourism activities in your area, we hope to be able to support them in our pages. Any way to bring tourism stories to the rest of the Filipinos or to give awareness about your town or city’s activities, etc, please let us know. 

I would really love to read about small towns or lesser known tourist destinations, or new local restaurants, or amazing but unknown businesses, getting the attention and spotlight they deserve.

If you’re also a subject matter expert that can do articles on the subjects you’re an expert of—home design, real estate, mental health, physical health, arts and culture, food—please let us know as well if you can do specific articles that you’re an advocate of.
