THE WITCH

By: Jun Abines

The woman is busy sucking blood
Sitting on the throne the man she loves
Her name may sound like royalty
But her state of mind is still in poverty

She loves to swim in wine and whiskey
When clean and sober she isn't happy
Now that the emperor is her honey
She hauls the gold silver and money

Her book does not define delicadeza
She feels more privileged than Monaliza
Her mother-in-law is her role model
More rich and famous than the devil

Let hundred ten million people suffer
Six years is short to fill the coffer
She raids all sources of funds to dry
And leave the people in the streets to die

They're busy flying around the world
The whole archipelago is already sold
Let the wars erupt in the South China Sea
They don't care for all the world to see

She is the boss and calls the shots
She'll plunder the bank while we watch
The King is floating on cloud nine
While dogs are being wined and dined

Everyone sees all these plunders
The witch is bold with no blinders
Until one brave soul shouts fire
She bloats filling all her desire

The whole chamber is dead silent
All are well-fed and unable to comment
All our grandchildren will surely suffer
Because we have no guts to offer

Yes we are all a nation of cowards
No one dares to march forward
Once the old man says I've had enough
I will march with him no one can stop.
