It’s impossible to diminish and discredit someone who bared his heart and soul, scars and all, for the world to see. Bastos, bulakbol, babaero, berdugo. Name it. He embraced all of it. To be a good leader, he willingly played the role of the bad guy. To give us a glimpse of heaven, he endured hell on a daily basis from the media and the opposition. 

And for that, it would take a miracle to destroy his legacy. A legacy not of fakery and flowery words, but of political will and action. A legacy forever etched in the hearts and minds of the common tao. The oppressed. The used. The abused. The forgotten. 

The all powerful masses.

So whatever happens, this much is true:

PARA SA AMIN, DUTERTE PA RIN.
