As DepEd Secretary, VP Inday Sara Duterte was under the president’s power of supervision and control, which limited her actions. This is why, for two years, VP Sara remained silent to follow the rules.
Her resignation marks the end of the president’s power of supervision and control over her. So, when VP Sara resigned as DepEd Secretary, this administration knew it marked the beginning of her counterattack against the relentless demolition jobs targeting her.
However, to restrict her movements further, PNP Chief Marbil removed her security detail.
Recognize that the Vice Presidential Protection Division (VPPD), placed under the PNP-PSPG (Police Security and Protection Group) by order of NAPOLCOM, was specifically established to ensure the Vice President's security is independent of interference. This was intended not just for VP Sara but for all future Vice Presidents, as clearly stated in NAPOLCOM and PNP documents.
After her security detail was removed, it became easier for them to compromise her safety.
For example, details about VP Sara’s travel were leaked, including the NAIA CCTV footage showing her departure for Germany on an emergency-related matter. This is very alarming because this is a national security issue.
Anong ginawa ng presidente at congress? WALA. DEADMA LANG.
When VP Sara was backed, she was informed that PNP operatives are “casing” her family.
In the context of PNP, "casing" refers to the act of conducting surveillance or reconnaissance on a person, property, or location. This involves gathering information covertly, often to assess vulnerabilities or patterns of behavior.
Bakit under surveillance ang mga anak ni VP Sara? Kriminal ba sila? Why are they identifying the exact house VP Sara rent—where her children also live? Bobombahin ba? Or kikidnappin ba mga anak niya?
If not for the intervention of well-meaning officials from the homeowners’ association, we don’t know what could happen to VP Sara’s kids and her family.
This is why there is circulating information saying that VP Sara's family is allegedly the target of an "Operation Romanov."
For those unfamiliar, "Operation Romanov" symbolically refers to a potential plot to overthrow, neutralize, or eliminate a powerful family or individual, drawing parallels to the tragic fate of the Romanov dynasty of Russia.
This was the CONTEXT of the question asked to VP Sara during her Zoom media conference.
In light of the current situation her family faces and the question's implications, VP Sara courageously responded:

Like any mother, it is your right to prioritize the safety and security of your family. The silence of Bongbong Marcos and other administration officials regarding the recent political harassment and surveillance (“casing”) targeting VP Sara and her family speaks volumes.
The real question is: Who seeks to overthrow, neutralize, or eliminate the Duterte family?
This puts into perspective VP Sara's statement during the recent press conference.
That’s the truth the media and Marcos admin is not talking about.
There’s a real threat to the Duterte family, yet what did VP Sara do? Stay silent.
It's ironic because during a media interview about Operation Romanov, VP Sara’s response seemed to make the Marcos administration cry for help—acting as if their family is entirely innocent.
