A meticulously crafted birthday cake for former President Rodrigo Duterte, created by the Mindanao Culinary and Cake Decorating Society, was displayed along Roxas Avenue in Davao City on Friday, March 28, 2025.

As Duterte marks his 80th birthday, a large-scale gathering is expected in Davao City from March 28 to 29, drawing participants from various regions of the Philippines.

The event serves as a demonstration of solidarity for the former leader, who is currently detained at the International Criminal Court (ICC) in The Hague, Netherlands, facing charges related to alleged crimes against humanity.
