UNFINISHED BUSINESS.

Thank you Association of Generals and Flag Officers (AGFO) for inviting me once more to break bread with you.

Our topics: RP-US MDT, China's Unrestricted Warfare, and the Taiwan Cross-Straits Issue.

My questions:

- Who are our friends and allies? US?
- Who in US? The Wilsonian Liberals?

- Is it the same US who were dropping arms for the NPAs via black C-130 in the dead of the night in Marag Valley, Capalonga Cam Sur, Negros, and Davao in the 80s?
- Or those running the McArthur Foundation and were giving support to NPAs in Davao?

- Or those funding the propaganda and regime change through NED, Smartmatic cheats, Rappler, and Angat Buhay?
- Those that allowed the reclamation of the Chinese in WPS in 2014 and not moving a finger to raise this to the consciousness of our political leaders then?

On the other side of the spectrum is the real US, the true ally who do not want war nor interference in the affairs of other sovereign nations?

- Who would oppose the use of USAID in dubious programs that only promote hatred, violence and divisiveness amongst us?
- Who would support us gain genuine peace, stability, and economic progress?

I would go for the second.

But first, understand that the government's ambivalence now is a result of decades of manipulation by the former.

The Cold War in the 1950's resulted in a polarized region in Asia.

Soviet communists had very strong influence in Indonesia, through the Partai Komonis Indonesia (PKI), which was believed being supported and protected by Sukarno.

This was the time when Joma Sison was also in Indonesia orienting himself deeper into the Marxist-Stalinist system. 

When Joma returned to Manila in 1962, he worked for the merger of the Lapiang Manggagawa (where Joma was Vice Pres of LM, and a member of PKP) and the ruling Liberal Party of Pres Diosdado Macapagal.

In 1963, the merger happened with the concurrence of the LP President then, Ferdinand E Marcos. Oh ,di ba?

According to historian Luis Domingo, Macapagal shared the vision of Sukarno, but his collaborative move was more of a political expediency.

Macapagal was trying to win the support of the Partido Kumunista ng Pilipinas (PKP) and the left of 1960s, especially because of his souring relationship with the US.

Let us remember that it was him, as President, who signed the proclamation declaring June 12 as our Independence Day in 1962, from 4th of July that coincides with US.

Sa madaling salita ang pakikipagkutsaba ng mga Liberal at ang mga kumunista ay nangyayari na noon pa mang 1963.

Maaaring ang intensyon ay upang makawala sa kontrol ng US (Imperialista daw) at sumakay sa anti-American sentiment sa rehiyon ng mga panahong iyon, ngunit kung susuriin natin isa sa mga dahilan ay gusto nilang hawakan ang monopoly ng asukal, kasama ang mga Lopez ng sugar central.

Negosyo pala hindi nasyonalismo ang dahilan.

Ito ang dahilan kung bakit tahimik sina Joma Sison at Lapiang Manggagawa duon sa mga pinapaslang nilang strikers sa Manila Port, sa utos ni Pres Macapagal noong 1963 (Scalice, 2022).

Tinago nila ang madugong insidenteng ito na ayon kay Scalice ay deliberate, para makalimutan. 

Pinuslit ni Sison ng mga armadong scabs na may baril at granada, sakay sa barko ng Philippine Coast Guard, para maging madugo ang komprontasyon sa picket line, at hindi ito pinaalam sa mga kasamahan nyang manggagawa.

SABOTAHE. 

Malinaw na noon pa man, ganito na maglaro si Joma Sison, at ang kanyang mga kakutsaba sa LP. Isasakripisyo ni Sison ang kanyang mga kasamahan para mangyari ang gusto nila.

Maalala nyo ang Plaza Miranda bombing in 1972? 

Ang 1987 Mendiola Massacre sa panahon ni Cory? 

Hacienda Luisita Massacre in 2004? Same same.

Anong nangyari at lumipat si PFEM sa Nacionalista Party upang labanan ang kapwa LP noon na si President Macapagal noong 1965? 

Ito ang paguusapan natin sa susunod na kabanata.

Marahil dito natin maintindihan bakit hanggang ngayon ganito ang politika natin.

Puno ng kababalaghan.
Puno ng katraydoran.
Puno ng kasakiman.

Resulta: Kulelat ang bayan.

Bago ka magkomentaryo Francisca Castro at MAKABAYAN, linawin ko lang na nasa gitna kayo sa mga manipulasyong ito.
