FIND PURPOSE IN LIFE

Reading this broke my heart to a million pieces. I imagine it broke his family a thousand millions more.
It had been more than a month since he was forcefully taken from his people, flown to a foreign soil, and made to suffer the indignity of being assumed guilty whence it should have been otherwise. Since then, the sorrow I felt never left. Like a dark cloud covering the warm sun, his absence made the country a little grayer — duller. Sadder.
I am also angry. The injustice of it all. If he did something wrong, he should have faced trial in his own land.
The cowards! Afraid of a frail, old man.
He may be suffering in isolation, locked up in a cell far, far away, but he is in every one of us Tards. His fight is now our fight.
And don’t be mistaken. We will make our voices heard. We will make sure we will be heard. Even the deaf will hear our cries for justice.
Our votes will make you who sit on puny thrones tremble. You will be forced to listen.
We will not stop crying out until you are no more ngewia ka 😏
