Welcoming the month of MAY seems another milestone for the late SUPERSTAR and NATIONAL ARTIST which the Iriga City government promulgated her birthdate May 21 as 'NORA AUNOR DAY" and every year thereafter in her hometown. This is a befitting homage to the nation's most iconic female figure where her life and legacy will be a big part of the said eventful day.

Aside from this special commemoration, the Office of the President is bestowing her the Presidential Medal of Merit (posthumus) come May 4, 2025 alongside with other recipients. Moreover, film screenings of some of her most iconic cinematic masterpieces will continue to be shown this month that would encompass the knowledge and understanding of the present generation of film enthusiasts.

She may have rested now in peace but her BEQUEST remains and will always be in the national conciousness of every FILIPINO.🙏🙏🙏❤

15 August 2024 THANK YOU FOR THE LEARNING, LESSONS & MEMORIES By Duoi Ampilan  Since 01 August 2024, I officially ended my deployment in Ukraine. Though short (4 months), my deployment was among the toughest, most challenging and most difficult. The last 45 days were among the things I would never wish for. Ukraine was my 14th country of deployment and the 24th country I traveled to.  After all the twists, turns, trials, tensions and torments, I am feeling tired.  Being a Humanitarian Worker is said to be among the Most Dangerous Jobs because of the associated risks and uncertainties aside from the daily stress & tensions.
