A Unanimous Vote From The Ranks

One of the most revealing results in this year's elections comes from the Local Absentee Voting (LAV) — where Filipinos, mostly in uniformed service, were allowed to cast their votes early (Apr 28-30) due to election day duties.

57,689: total votes cast for 2025 LAV :

29,030 are from the Armed Forces

23,448 from the Philippine National Police

4,206. Government Employees

1,005. Members of the Media

So, how did our men and women in uniform vote?

In what appears to be a quiet protest — or even outright defiance, not a single candidate endorsed by the administration made it to the top 12.

Even Bam Aquino or Kiko Pangilinan are nowhere in the winning circle. Instead, the top picks were all PDP-Laban candidates.

Topping the list:

1. Bong Go
2. Bato dela Rosa
3. Rodante Marcoleta
4. Bondoc, Jimmy
5. Lambino, Raul
6. Rodriguez, Atty Vic
7. Jayvee, Hinlo
8. Philip Salvador

Retired military men running as independent candidates were also favored:

Ariel Querubin at #9

Gringo Honasan at #11

Col. Bosita at #12

But not Ping Lacson, a former PNP Chief, who
landed only at #15 —and that’s the best rank among Alyansa bets.

Surprisingly, Apollo Quiboloy made it to #10, beating the more prominent and well funded Alyansa candidates like:

Erwin Tulfo (#19)

Pia Cayetano (#20)

Abby Binay (#26)

Benhur Abalos (#29)

Bong Revilla (#31)

This is a deafening statement delivered by the ballot.

Military and police personnel cannot openly express political opinions due to their loyalty to the chain of command, but this vote speaks what cannot be said.

Yes, Quiboloy ranked higher than all of the President’s endorsed candidates.

Now that’s a message worth reading between the lines!
