The WTA Tour and the organizers of the Dubai Tennis Championships made special adjustments for Filipina sensation Alex Eala. 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭

For those who may not know, tournament officials noticed that every time Eala plays, she draws massive crowds, with thousands of Filipino fans coming to the venue to support her. Because of this overwhelming support, the organizers and the WTA decided to move her match against Jasmine Paolini to Center Court as the main event.

According to the organizers, Alex is currently one of the most popular players in women’s tennis, which is why they chose to feature her on Center Court instead of placing her on smaller courts, as happened in some of her previous tournaments. The Dubai organizers did not want to repeat the same mistake other hosts made in the past.

Later, when she plays in the Round of 16 against 35-year-old veteran Sorana Cîrstea, their match will once again be held at Center Court.
