As 2022 draws to a close, a new one will begin. I hope and pray that all the hardships and problems, all the suffering and pain, failures and mistakes, anger and bitterness, all the hate and misunderstanding be part of the past and will be left with the year that will come to pass. 

However, let us not forget the lessons learned. May it remind and help us along our journey to a new and better year. I wish that our homes be filled with the spirit of resilience and hope, healing and forgiveness, kindness, love and respect towards one another. We have been blessed with another year, another chance for a new beginning, to be better versions of ourselves. Let these be foremost in our hearts and minds. Let these be the banquet on our tables to be freely and generously given to all. 

This, I believe is better than the usual bounty we prepare every new year because these do not only fill the hearts and souls of those who partake but of the giver as well. Let this be our tradition for surely it will bring us and our families prosperity not only this coming year but in the years to come. If not the material wealth but more importantly those that truly matters - God, family and good friends. To God who provides all things that is good and worthy be all the glory in Christ Jesus. A very happy, blessed, prosperous and Christ filled new year to us all.
