INYAM

Seedy fruit from a big tree growing in the wild.

"...IN PEACE AND HARMONY"

Lifted from C E B U "If I don't solve corruption in government, illegal drug trade and criminality in the country - who will ? Do you think it is an easy task for me to get rid of a problem that has grown for the past 30 years ? The moment I decided to run for President, I was ready to risk my life in resolving the problem - asap ! It is easy for my critics to throw stones at me because they are hiding behind the curtain unexposed to the dangers of this office. If they really love their country, they should join me as contributors to nation building - not protectors of the Corrupt, the Drug Lords, the Criminals that have invaded our system of governance. Again, I warn them to Stop It - because I will be using the powers of my office to hunt you down and put you in jail, so that our People can live in peace and harmony!"

THE TALE OF TWO CITIES

Image
Lifted from Rex Bacarra 24 August 2025 VICO VS. ISKO: TWO MAYORS, ONE FUTURE Vico Sotto rules quietly. No giant posters. No circus. Just steady work. He makes government simple- transparent, clean, and people-first. Isko Moreno rules like a storm. Loud. Visible. Fast. From clearing streets to rebuilding Manila, his style is grit and spectacle. Two mayors. Two different styles. And honestly, I don’t mind the style at all. What matters is delivery. People don’t eat style. People don’t live on slogans. They need books in schools, medicine in hospitals, safe streets, fair wages. Vico’s silence works. Isko’s noise works. Different ways, same goal: serve the people. That’s what politics should be. Some say Vico is better. Others say Isko. But that misses the point. They may lead in different ways, but both did what matters- serve. Politics is not a contest of style. It is a test of results. And that is the point. If we treat them as rare miracles, nothing changes. The old system waits, ready...

RODY DUTERTE: ONLY ONE MAN

Image
8 August 2025 Rody Duterte is only one man. You may arrest him. You may kill him. But mark my words – he will die as a HERO, his story will be immortalized and etched into the fabric of Philippine history. His patriotism and unwavering commitment to his people will transcend time, resonating deeply in the hearts of Filipinos. He will become a symbol of resistance and hope. The vocal minority can cling to your 8080 delusions, believing you’ve succeeded in pushing your politically-driven and selfish agenda. But know this: if you kill him, his spirit will live on among millions of Filipinos - enough to ignite a bloody revolution. Meanwhile, as the Philippine government reached a new level of disgrace, #BBM will go down in history as a spineless puppet, a pathetic shadow of a dictator, proving that incompetence can outdo even tyranny, and a leader with an impaired judgment sold out his own country for power. A man propped up by stolen wealth and lavish parties, ruling with cluelessness, an...

A MASTERCLASS IN DEMOCRACY AND THE RULE OF LAW

Image
8 August 2025 A MASTERCLASS IN DEMOCRACY AND THE RULE OF LAW By Teddy Adarna In an era of synthetic populism and legislative erosion, the Philippine Senate often caricatured as a mere arena of political theater rose above its own caricature. On August 6, 2025, the chamber did not just cast votes or deliver speeches. It enacted a profound constitutional exorcism, invoking not emotion, not impulse, but the sharp blade of the rule of law. This wasn’t just procedure it was philosophy in action. ⸻ The Hour Democracy Was Tested The impeachment complaint against Vice President Sara Duterte had ignited national tension. It threatened to plunge the country into yet another protracted political war. But as the noise outside reached a fever pitch, inside the Senate halls, something rare and remarkable unfolded: wisdom prevailed over wrath. It was here, in this fragile chamber of democracy, that men and women often accused of partisanship chose country over circus. And at the forefront of this con...

THE LIGHT OF THE HOUSE

Image
7 August 2025 Lifted from Malou Tiquia In fairness to the majority in the Senate, the light was given to #Marcoleta to lay the predicate.  That he used it to deliver a privileged speech debunking the House was a careful wedge laid out using both the House rules and the plenary. #Husay. When he said, “iba ang Journal sa Order of Business” says a lot about congressional process and his knowledge about it. Let me add, iba rin ang Records of the House! That he allowed an amendment on his original motion from dismissed to archived was proof that Marcoleta knew his rules of procedure. And he was just holding on the Constitution and the Rules while doing the speech and no staff was there to feed him guides. The neophyte is not one. Marcoleta showed to all that the 20th Senate will have exciting debates and pointed discussions. We have in him a defender of the Filipinos.  He was gagged in the House of Representatives. Removed 5 committees from him. Striped as Deputy Speaker. And it wa...
