Buahan tampoy refers to bigger fruits with larger seeds; buwahan teed is considered the native type, with smaller fruits; and buahan bakisung, which is almost identical in size to buahan teed but is popularly known for having a sweeter taste. The latter's name is derived from Brgy. Bakisung, where the fruits are usually sourced.
